British Board
of Film Classification
This is Unreal.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has provided the official film ratings in the UK for over 100 years. We were approached to create a document for their major media conference to persuade Video On Demand companies to realise the power of the official BBFC symbols in promoting their content.

The symbols have massive consumer recognition and VOD services would gain greater brand trust by using them. We positioned the marques as the hidden icons of film and television by using ratings shaped holes in iconic on-screen moments, explaining that something important missing from their film and television collections.

This is real.

We used some of the screen's most iconic moments thanks to permission from some of Hollywood's biggest film and
TV companies.

We were proud to work with the BBFC's ratings identifiers. Their symbols have consumer recognition higher than some of the worlds leading brands.

Sadly, despite exhustive research all our image suggestions for R18 rated films never made it into the final cut.
